On Sunday, April 24, from 2:30pm to 4 pm, join us in the Church as we
experience the extraordinary love and mercy we all so
desperately need in our lives, our families, and our world.
The Divine Mercy Novena starts on Good Friday, pamphlets will be available.
The format of the day will be:
– Joint recitation of the “Offering of Merciful Love”
– Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament,
– Chaplet of Divine Mercy in song and
– Public veneration of the life-size Divine Mercy image.
This particular Sunday is a day of great graces. Jesus told
St. Faustina that on this day: “the very depths of My tender
mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon souls
who approach the Fount of My Mercy [the Sacraments of
Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist]. The soul that will go to
Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete
forgiveness of sins and punishment.”
(Note: Confessions will be available this day. Your confession during Lent satisfies this requirement.)
