– New prayer group dedicated to the Holy Face of Jesus which is starting in the main church at Holy Trinity parish in Gainesville. This devotion is based on the approved private revelations of Sister Marie Pierre, a Carmelite of Tours, France from the mid-19th Century. The express purpose of the devotion is to make reparation to the Holy Face of Jesus (image from the Veil of Veronica) for sins committed against the 1st 3 Commandments and to defeat communism. Providentially, our 1st (monthly) meeting is not only the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus but also the same night when the Los Angeles Dodgers are promoting grave violations of the 1st 2 Commandments by honoring a blasphemous group which mocks the Catholic Faith .
Time: Friday, June 16, 6-7pm in the main church at Holy Trinity parish.

Ascension – seeing this event from Thomas’ viewpoint
Pentecost – Thomas also present there when Holy Ghost came upon the Apostles and disciples, and would lead him to be the Apostle to India.
Assumption tradition. A popular tradition in Jerusalem handed down over the centuries is that all the Apostles except Thomas were present at the death of the Blessed Virgin. After it, they reverently buried her still beautiful body in a tomb. When St. Thomas finally arrived, having traveled a long distance from India, he greatly wanted to see her body, so they rolled back the stone and upon entering it, realized it was gone but in its place blooming flowers. Moreover the tomb had no scent of death’s corruption but was filled with the perfume of flowers, mingled with scents not of earth.
Coronation – Can contemplate, after St. Thomas martyrdom and having been admitted to heavenly glory, he is given the honor of crowning the BVM as queen!
